Time Balance

Time is a very precious commodity yet highly perishable. It is unrepeatable and irreplaceable. Whether you are a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, Satanist, Deist etc. we are all given 24 hours a day to utilize it or waste it away.

Time is priceless; you cannot put monetary value to it. It cannot be contained; we are only opportuned with the ability of memory to capture all the great moments that made our lives worthwhile.

Time cannot be borrowed or leased neither can it be recreated. Once it is gone it is gone. Unfortunately most people do not realize how precious time is until in later part of their lives. A lot of people who have wasted their time hide behind religion and pray for restoration forgetting that, time is always in motion, opportunity or money lost can be recovered but time cannot. It does not also stop for no one; the rich or poor, the famous or ordinary.

Think about it this way, the average life given to man according to the Bible is 70 years which means that we all given 1,680 hours when were born. Assuming we are to spend an average of 8 hours sleeping for the next 70 years(Psalm 90:10), our time remaining will be 1,120 hrs. From the moment we are born into the world the clock starts ticking.

If you are 20 years at the moment, you have an average of 50 years left which is equal to 1,200 hours less 400 hours of sleep and your remaining hours is 800.

If you are 30 years, you have 1200 hours left less 320 hours sleep and you have 640 hours.

If you have 35 years, you have 840 hours remaining less 280 hours of sleeping and your remaining balance is 560.

If you are 40 years, you have 720 hours less 240 hours of sleep and your balance is 480 hours.

Whatever your remaining balance is remember that we are each uniquely given time in different proportions. Some grow past the century mark, while others do not see the day light and come out as miscarriage.

The duration of life does not matter because we don’t have control over it. However, how we live matters because we do have control over our destiny.

Hope you use your remaining hours wisely.
