Perfection; the enemy of progress

The zeal for perfection is the enemy of progress.

I used to think that I had to be always ready and everything set right and perfect before I start or get things done.

As I grow older and now reflecting on missed opportunities I encountered because I was either waiting for the perfect time or was just too afraid of failing .My heart now is full of regret.

I regret for not taking up opportunities when they showed up which as a result prevented from learning new things and vital lessons needed for that period and for the facilitation of growth in all aspect of my life.

This search for perfection retorted growth in all aspect of my life. Although my heart is full of regret I do not dwell there. Given the opportunities to start all over again I would do things differently.

So yes I tell you now never wait for the perfect time or moment to do something, just do it. Go in with all your heart and prepare, fight and plan to win.

If you fail, so what?? You will learn something from the experience which will serve as a guide to your next endeavor.

Build on existing achievement, do wait for things to be right but as time goes on and you get things done, work also to improve them.
