Cutting the Cord

The umbilical cord is what supplies a baby in the womb with nutrients but once delivered, it is “cut”. It’s a difficult moment in the life of a baby to let go the cord to make efforts to feed. Yet, the baby needs to let go the cord to have a healthy life.

How can we grow into adulthood if we’re unwilling to let go our childhood?

How can a baby experience the world if the baby is unwilling to let go the mother’s womb?

Be like a tree that easily let go its leaves hoping that new ones would grow to attract for its sunlight & water.
